Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > When I was young, this was always one of the first sights I remember--that I was finally back upnorth by Grandma and Grandpa's.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > Ahhhh....the great memories of the pump. The ever present ladle would be hanging there, and it always tasted better to me than the water back home. It was always cold, and even colder out of the old milk can in the kitchen---even when it was 90+ degrees!! But also the bad memories of Grandma sending me to pump water,(for what seemed like hours) for her.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > Our poor cliffs. You use to be able to walk down the slope, but now you need climbing gear. The trees are all sliding down to the water. Hopefully, it won't keep going back farther towards the house.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > Every year, you can see thru the trees to lake easier and easier. Kinda sucks.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > One of the antique fishing boats that are on shore that were used as a way of life back in the day. Took another shot of this a few years after I took this one in dusk instead of bright sunshine.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > These were my little cousins, but I took it cuz' it reminded me of when I was little. It could have been easily me and my sister walking along 30 years ago.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > Another example of the falling trees. Some of the biggest pines are coming down.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > The view from the old property across the bay.
Kathleen Pine (pinetree) > Cornucopia is part of the longest stretch of sandy beaches on Lake Superior.
