Seemed like a good enough shot of Gabbro Falls, until some kids came by and went down the side of the mountain. They made it look so easy (and always was to me) that I decided that maybe there was more down there then I initially thought there was. You see, I had already decided that the angle at the bottom wouldn't be much better---until they went down there. I thought "what the hell" and trekked down to the base. I passed all the supposedly 'hard' parts of the descent when WHAM!!!! My right foot was facing the wrong way. I'm at the freakin' bottom, what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kids were great at getting me help (I tried to get him to take pictures of my nightmare--but he was afraid to break my camera) Speaking of the camera, not a scratch on it. So ended my vacation with a broken leg, in 8 places. UGH! the one time I don't bring Easton. Now you know why HE goes down the cliffs instead of me. I ended up staring at these falls for about an hour till search and rescue came, but as I said, never took the pic. I found someone else who got the shot at "Google Earth". Here's the link http://www.panoramio.com/photo/1858188 if you want to see that. If nothing else, I had a nice view.
